​When did you start at Holy Family - St. Mary's School?

• I started working at HFSM School in the fall of 2020.

What is your favorite part about being the school Health & Art Teacher and Reading Interventionist?

• I really enjoy the variety in the job. I love to see the students using their creativity and imagination through their art work. Health is rewarding for me to teach as I get to use my healthcare background in my lessons and also get to work with the students on social/emotional health and wellness, which is so important. My favorite part of working as a reading Interventionist is the one on one time with the students and seeing the progress that is made over our time together.

What would you tell parents considering sending their child(ren) to HFSM School?

• HFSM School provides a safe, loving environment in which the students and staff members are allowed to grow in their faith and learn ways to share their faith with others. The school community itself feels like a family; students care for one another and support each other throughout the school day. Morning prayer and weekly school Mass provide the opportunity for students and staff to focus on their love and faith in God and to use the virtues to help guide them in living a full, purposeful life.

What is your favorite Bible Verse?

• Deuteronomy 31:6 - "Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you."

Fun Fact?

• My favorite season is Fall!
