When did you start at Holy Family - St. Mary's School?

What is your favorite part about being the Library Media Specialist?

I get to do so many different things as the Library Media Specialist, it is hard to choose! I love to read stories with voices and sing songs (sometimes with my ukulele). I also love teaching research skills and digital citizenship.

But ultimately, my absolute favorite part of being the Library Media Specialist is sharing my passion for literature while getting to know each student individually and helping them find the perfect book. The best feeling in the world is when a student rushes back into the library with bright eyes, just bursting to tell me how much they loved the book we picked together!

What would you tell parents considering sending their child(ren) to HFSM School?

As a parent of two HFSM graduates, I highly recommend our school. With the small class sizes, staff truly gets to know each child. Additionally, students are held to high academic standards and they recieve moral development through the virtues. It is a win-win!

What is your favorite Bible Verse?

Matthew 11:28-30, "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
And if you ask me my favorite prayer, it's the sung Divine Mercy Chaplet by Sarah Kroger.

Fun Fact?

Other than reading, I love to bake bread, ride my bike, and sing! I also love to travel and have been to 40 of the 50 US States (and 6 countries)
